Friends of the Sisters—Be a Voice for Synodality

The Synod on Synodality is a three-year process of listening and dialogue that began on October 9, 2021, and will continue into October 2024 and beyond. Pope Francis challenges us to pursue “ this path of synodality which God expects of the Church of the third millennium.” This journey, which follows in the wake of the Church’s “renewal” proposed by the Second Vatican Council, is both a gift and a task: by journeying together and reflecting together on the journey that has been made, the Church will be able to learn through Her experience which processes can help Her to live communion, to achieve participation, to open Herself to mission.” The process continues. Pope Francis invites each of us to continue the process in preparation for October 2024. We are inviting you, our friends to join the Dominican Sisters on March 23 to share your ideas, visions, and dreams for church. The day will begin with hospitality at 9:00 am and will continue with conversations in the Spirit and will conclude near 1:00 pm. The Dominican Sisters of San Rafael and the Friends of the Sisters Committee invite you to come and “Be a voice for Synodality.”
