Roses in December: 40th Anniversary
The Dominican Sisters of San Rafael and the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose invite you to join as they co-host a virtual prayer service to commemorate the lives and tragic deaths of four U. S. churchwomen whose lives were taken that fateful day 40 years ago. Through song, prayer, and reflection we will honor the memory of Ursuline Sister Dorothy Kazel, Maryknoll Sisters Maura Clarke and Ita Ford, and lay missioner, Jean Donovan, who were brutally murdered by the U.S.-supported Salvadoran military for their ministry accompanying refugee families and for their dedication to those living in poverty. Please join us as we retell their story and recommit to the work of the Gospel.
