Online Reflection on Dominican Spirituality: St. Catherine of Siena

Young women ages 22-45 are invited to an online via Zoom (link provided upon registration) Tuesday evenings: March 23 – April 27, 2021, from 7:00–8:15 pm (PST)

St. Catherine of Siena, mystic in the streets, lived during the 14th century, in a time of great unrest in society and in the church. Though drawn to a deep life of prayer, she found ways to minister to others suffering from the plague, facing imprisonment or execution, and to popes and public officials.

  • The resource material for the group will be Praying With Catherine of Siena by Patricia Vinje.
  • The format for our group will include an opening prayer, discussion about the book, journaling, and dialogue about how we see a faith response to our current social and church environment.
  • The group is for young adult women who are interested in spirituality whether just starting to inquire or those who have lived or ministered with Dominicans. The group is also for those who might be considering religious life.

This event has ended.
