Friends of the Sisters—with Sr. Cyndie Cammack
October 19 @ 9:00 am - 1:10 pm
FreeLet’s talk about the ‘taboo’ topic of death—including planning for it, being with others in this time, resource sharing, and sharing of stories. Death is a reality in our lives. We all have a terminal disease; it is called life. We are born to live until we die. None of us will get out of this life alive. Bummer huh… Not so fast. Perhaps it is the unknown of it that keeps us from wanting to talk about it. Or the finality of it. Our faith tells us that death in this life is not the end of the story. Since death is an inevitable part of life; let’s plan for it. How can we help someone else? Death is as personal as life – often how someone was in life is how they are in death. We will have resources available to complete needed forms and decision-making guides.
