Gather @ Grand Monday Movie Night 1

In conjunction with the Climate Change Summit gathering in San Francisco between September 14-16, 2018, the Dominican Sisters invite you to join us in learning more about the implications of climate change on our earth community and our role in responding to this crisis. There will be a series of three Monday Night Movies on different topics that offer us information on three affected areas.

September 10 Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution

In this video, filmmaker Jamie Redford embarks on a personal journey across the US to meet pioneers of clean energy technology, often finding them in some very unlikely places. Highlighting innovators and entrepreneurs in communities from Georgetown, Texas to Buffalo, New York, Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution follows Redford – grandson of a longtime Chevron worker and son of actor/environmental advocate Robert Redford – on an enlightening cross-country journey to discover the current state of clean energy and see what lies on the horizon.
