#justiceOPportunity Thursday—January 14, 2021

It’s #justiceOPportunity Thursday and we are practicing gratitude and praying for peace—won’t you join us? On January 6, the lives of our Vice President, elected Representatives and Senators, and many of their staff were put in jeopardy. After the attack on the National Capitol was quelled, these brave men and women returned to their chambers to complete their duty to certify the election of our next President and Vice President.

Our country is hurting today. We must all do what we can to foster understanding and reconciliation. We must speak truth to power; preach justice and peace; walk the talk; and be the Good News. Take action by calling the office of Vice President Mike Pence and the Capitol Switchboard to ask to speak your two senators and your representative to express your gratitude for their courage and your wishes for both a peaceful transition of power and for mutual respect and work for the common good in the coming months and years ahead.

Contact information:

  • Office of the Vice President: 202.456.7549
  • Capitol Switchboard: 202.224.3121 (In order to reach your two senators and your assemblyperson, you must make three separate calls.)
Everyday Epiphanies

Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life…and the world.
