Over the course of three virtual sessions via Zoom\, participants will be led through topics of discussion including: What inspired them to live the lives that they did; What gifts in these women do you see in yourself; and Lessons learned from the pandemic. The group is for young adult women who are interested in spirituality. DESCRIPTION:For Women Age 18-45 \nSaturday\, April 23\, 2022\n Lands End\, San Francisco (exact meeting spot will be emailed to you upon registration.)\n 9:30 am-noon \nDo you feel God in nature? \nIf you are a single\, Catholic woman between the ages of 18 to 45\, consider spending half a day as we hike around scenic Lands End along the coast of San Francisco. The hike is approximately two hours in length and includes level walking paths and a few steep inclines with magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean. DESCRIPTION:Twelve Step Programs provide a spiritual pathway to millions of people throughout the world. The original program\, influenced by a variety of world religions\, was started by Bill W. and Dr. Bob in Alcoholics Anonymous and was followed by Lois W. and Anne B. as they started AlAnon program for family and friends of those addicted to alcohol. Since those days there have been many variations of Twelve Step Programs dealing with issues involving gambling\, overeating\, debt\, etc. \n REGISTER \n About: Twelve Step Programs offer tremendous hope and have blessed the lives of countless people whose life circumstances call them to significant change – whether the change involves dealing with addiction or involves changes facing the family members of those struggling with an addiction. In our times\, many are attracted to the spirituality of the Twelve Steps who are not dealing with addiction but simply desire to learn the Twelve Step approach to walking through life in a way that is happy\, joyous\, and free. In times of uncertainty and confusion\, the Twelve Steps offer the path to a spiritual awakening. Come join us for a reflection on Twelve Step Spirituality and enter into a conversation about this spiritual path offering a life of gratitude and serenity. \n About the Presenter: Sr. Cathy Murray\, M.Div./LCSW has had two ministries throughout her religious life weaving together social action and preaching. She ministered for fifteen years in parishes in Northern California as a pastoral associate where she preached regularly and led adult education programs as well as retreats. She has also ministered as a social work supervisor for Sonoma County Adult Protective Services. Today\, she serves on the leadership team for her community\, the Dominican Sisters of San Rafael. DESCRIPTION:Young women ages 22-45 are invited to an online via Zoom (link provided upon registration) Tuesday evenings: March 23 – April 27\, 2021\, from 7:00–8:15 pm (PST)  \nSt. Catherine of Siena\, mystic in the streets\, lived during the 14th century\, in a time of great unrest in society and in the church. Though drawn to a deep life of prayer\, she found ways to minister to others suffering from the plague\, facing imprisonment or execution\, and to popes and public officials.  \n\nThe resource material for the group will be Praying With Catherine of Siena by Patricia Vinje. \nThe format for our group will include an opening prayer\, discussion about the book\, journaling\, and dialogue about how we see a faith response to our current social and church environment. \nThe group is for young adult women who are interested in spirituality whether just starting to inquire or those who have lived or ministered with Dominicans.
